In the past, I would lie to myself saying "new year, new me" while still remaining the same person, still living the same life. Well, this year I'll be real with myself: I am determined to work on changing my habits to become a better version of myself.
I understand that everything I have been searching for, I have always had with me, a la "The Alchemist" (the book by Paolo Coelho*). I just want to improve on the qualities that make me unique and to learn new skills.
As a family, we accomplished so much in 2025 - purchased a home, moved to a new state, celebrated graduations, etc. All of which was a result of consistency and perseverance, of healthy habits that got us from point a to point b.
We just finished creating vision boards as a family using Canva (not a sponsored post). Here's a peek at my son's (the Ferrari is a stretch but hey, we will make it happen!).
What are some habits you would like to let go of in 2026? What are habits you would like to continue or improve upon this year? One of mine to improve on is consistency. I tend to start something and not finish it. For example, the several projects I started - like this blog - and neglect for months, sometimes even years.
Let's make 2026 better than 2025!
